What is Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party?

The Magic Kingdom celebrates with a huge Halloween party complete with trick or treating, specialty food, shows, and all the characters decked out in their Halloween best. Mickey’s Boo-to-you Halloween parade showcases some of your favorite villains and ghastly ghouls and special shows, including Hocus Pocus! The 2024 MNSSHP offered a special meet and greet for the first time with Bruno Madrigal, from Encanto. Watch for updates on all the new characters that will be coming out to play during the party!!

Goulish Halloween Inspired Treats

Last year, some of the Halloween inspired treats were, Joffrey's Witches cold brew, French vanilla coffee topped with pumpkin-spiced foam and Halloween Sprinkles or the Terrifyin' Twice-Spiced Chicken Sandwich at Cosmic Ray's Starlight Cafe. What to Know Before You Book Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party

On the party days, you must have a party ticket, or you’ll be asked to leave Magic Kingdon starting at 6 p.m. Party guests are able to start entering the park as early as 4 p.m., and the party is over at 12 a.m. In turn, if you are planning on going to the Magic Kingdom for just a park day and don’t want to participate in the Halloween party, be aware of party dates, because your day at the park will be cut short. Also, if you are wearing a costume to the party, please check out the costume policy here: Park Dress Guidelines | FAQ | Walt Disney World (go.com)

Where to Stay:

There are so many wonderful resort locations on the Walt Disney World property, our favorite being Art of Animation because of its playful Disney design and how close it is to the Skyliner. We also love Coronado Springs Resort and found it both full of luxury and modestly priced. Read about our 2025 review of this resort, The Ultimate Family Guide to Disney's Coronado Springs Resort 2025. Disney Resorts add extra magic to any Disney vacation. We love using Undercover Tourist to help us find the best deal on Disney Resorts! Start planning here https://shareasale.com/r.cfm?b=1960109&u=4197673&m=121755&urllink=&afftrack=

But for those needing more a little extra room and added value; I’d like to talk about our two favorite off-property locations. If you want to go with another family and multiple children, I recommend the Solterra Resort in Davenport. These affordable vacation homes have up to 5 bedrooms and bathrooms with their own swimming pool and jacuzzi. They are beautifully decorated and only about 25 minutes from the park. We stayed here in January, and it was pure luxury considering everyone had their own bathroom, we had a place to commune after the parks, and there were no pool hours. Not to mention, no one had to wait in line to use the laundry.

These are our favorite Solterra Properties:

Another option, if you don’t need as much room, is the Drury Inn in Disney Springs. Here, you get all the amenities of staying at a Disney Property, but you’re not paying Disney prices. There is a bus that takes you to and from all the parks, and you get early entry just like a resort guest. If given the option, our family will always choose a Drury Inn. This hotel chain offers a manager’s reception from 5-7 each day with a free dinner and three free-adult beverages. There are always free fountain drinks and popcorn 24-7 in the lobby. Every morning, they offer a full free breakfast, and yes at this location, they have Mickey Waffles. This chain offers so much value and has a rewards program where you can work toward free stays.

Our Families Favorite Hotel Chain:

Wherever you plan to stay, from my family to yours, "We hope you have a Spooktacular time." As always, Let's Make Memories!
